I never thought that when I went to the opening night midnight screening of “Sex and the City 2” that I would see a preview with a movie with Charlie from the TV show “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” in it. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to see it now.
The movie also stars Drew Barrymore and Justin Long who are a couple in a long-distance relationship. Charlie plays Justin Long’s creepy roommate and friend. I’m probably a little biased as an Its Always Sunny fan, but it looks like Charlie will be the best and funniest thing to happen to that movie, easily. I’ve watched the movie trailer about a million times on my satellite internet and half of the funny lines in it come from him.
My favorite “Sunny” show from the latest season is “The Waitress is Getting Married” when Charlie decides to move on from the waitress he stalks because she’s getting married. I watch clips of this one scene where he’s horrifying a date at a nice steakhouse. It’s so quotable.
I want to see that movie, but basically just for Charlie. I hope it does him justice.
