The Use Of Spoilers In A Race

In this world, there are many cars which are used to do competing in a race. Many cars are using some kinds of car accessories in order to make the car faster than before. Beside it, the adding of car accessories aims to make the car more stylist than the other cars. So, the car does not only get the fast acceleration, but the stylist shape. In order to make the car faster than before, the people or racers usually have some accessories such as wings, spoilers, muffler, tires, and etc. As the example is the spoiler. The spoiler divided into two kinds. The first kind is spoiler which is placed at the front of the car. It is called as air dam. The front spoiler or air dam is used by racers to reduce the air flow which is under the vehicle. That condition will also affect to reduce the aerodynamic lift. Meanwhile, the second type of spoilers is rear spoiler. A rear spoiler is usually used by racers to reduce the turbulence at the rear of the car when driving. It purposes to produce the best and fastest acceleration to the car.

Actually, the front and rear spoilers are common things to the racer. This is because the condition of the vehicle which is used in a race. In some cases, there are many vehicles that have a fairly steep downward angle. It can be seen from the rear edge of the roof down to the trunk or the car. In this case, when the vehicle flows in high speed, it can produce the air flow separation. So, that’s why many racers who put the spoilers to the car.
